Forgotten by SmellsLikeBeer Forgotten by SmellsLikeBeer
So this one was a commission for :iconolavsson: (I hope you like it, Olavsson!) It was really nice working with this. With someone else's ideas. A fresh change you know.

I don't usually do commissions, but I'm still quite broke and need the money, gotta earn it the way or other.

I still had some issues with that goddamn ink. Like someone had mixed too much water in it. But not me, I never mix too much water in my ink. Damn rats.. Anyway, it was so watery that I almost fucked up with the finest details. Ended up quite nicely after all. I was again so much into cross-hatching that I forgot to hide any kind of little messages in the drawing. Hell, I even forgot the signature.

It's done in Indian ink and watercolors.
I made this little step-by-step of this drawing, so if you're interested in seeing it, it's here [link] It only has the main steps and it's really simple and stuff.

Didn't think of it until now, but this looks very similar to the Jedi Archives

Can you explained in details what did you do in the cross-hatching part?

You know, quite often I really doubt myself seriously. Like, if I really should just quit drawing. And stuff like that. But when reading your comments I stop doubting. Sorry, but I just don't know what else to say, I can't articulate more clearly. But thanks (:
