After a long fight I got this submitted through stash. Thanks for the hint.

Yeah, so my next still untitled series is about Filly-Jack looking for different life in Manehattan. We'll see how big series it'll be depending on my inspiration.

This is just awesome. I love your style! It's a very uncommon one for pony art, which makes it that much more eye-catching. Not just the linework and hatching, but also the mixture of color and black and white. All of this makes me think of older independent comics from past decades.

Whereas I'm not really one for the "dark / emo" aspect of pony artwork (or really of any artwork for that matter), the scenes you've portrayed in this series are very well put together. A mild splash of color in an otherwise monochrome world, a touch of emotion in a place that's sterile and somber.

Having grown up in Paris, I understand exactly the emotions that are being portrayed by a lot of these images. This one in particular jumps out at me as I remember going to french school, being surrounded by nothing but buildings that all looked identical, the constantly overcast skies, and the filthy streets that you'd find if you walk only two blocks away from the touristy areas.

As an American growing up in Paris, this picture speaks even more to me since Applejack, a southern character, stands on a tiny service bridge as the only speck of color in the scene. Not to say that I was "the only good person" there, but I felt alienated and singled out at times because of my nationality.
